Land of the Lost.

I recently watched the move "Land of the Lost" And I found the movie to be so peculiar I decided to write about it.
The movie is about a professor who found a way to jump to alternate universums but nobody takes him serious and he gets thrown out of the scientific community. He gives up on his findings because nobody will ever care about them, untill one day he meets a woman who really believed in him. They then made the machine he invented, but whilst testing it something went wrong and they got stuck in an alternate universe.

They also get in trouble with a T-rex befriend an intelligent monkey prince and save the every universe in existance whilst searching for the machine that can get them back, it got lost whilst warping to the other universe.
Now, the funny thing about this movie is that the characters are huge stereotypes (A doctor who gave up, a young woman eager to convice the doctor he is worth something and a dumb redneck.). The script is predicatable as hell and the movie is full of clichés. The movie doesn't really take itself serious, but tries to look like it does. Although a lot of people gave this movie very bad reviews, I thought it was very funny, just because it is that bad. Just even the introduction of the characters made me laugh so hard because it was so predictable. Another example, further in the movie the doctor is talking the dino can't get them because his brains are the size of a walnut and right at that moment a walnut drops from a giant tree. The walnut had the size of a  human, after which the dino suddenly pulls of a smart move and almost gets to eat them.

The visual effects and the animation of for example the aliens are also incredibly cheap, which yet again add to the fun-factor of the movie.

I suggest you go see this movie right away, but you should watch it without expecting too much, or else you would probably get bored to hell and rate it a 0/10.
